Meet your Life Guide!
Hello! I am Max, a Life Guide that wants to support you in your life’s journey. Helping others makes me feel fulfilled and gives me a sense of purpose. Life guidance is designed to help people overcome the challenges they face in their lives. I use three main pillars to guide my clients: meditation, Buddhist and Stoic wisdom, and spirituality. These three pillars can help people achieve their goals, build better relationships, and live a more fulfilling life!
My Holistic Approach
With a holistic approach to life guidance, I focus on three key aspects of life balance: body, mind and spirit. We can establish a true life balance only when we take care of these three aspects.This means an assessment of your lifestyle, which includes your diet, exercise, sleep, financial management, stress levels, activities that nurture your mind and spiritual practices. You can’t have a healthy mind without a healthy body. And you can’t have a healthy body without a healthy mind; both are needed to nurture and support each other. From my point of view, you can’t proclaim that you have a healthy lifestyle because you eat well and do exercise meanwhile you are struggling with mental health challenges. Spiritual practices will help you develop mindfulness, find clarity on the purpose of your life and a sense of connection with everything. It is important to understand that with a holistic approach we are more likely to discover the root cause of a challenge that you are facing, because we are integrating multiple aspects that determine your well-being. In my opinion and experience, having a healthy mind is the most important aspect because what we think and how we think will determine how we feel and act. You will hear me repeating this quote from Buddha multiple times: “the mind is everything”. A healthy and balanced mind will help you to confront any challenges that you have, including physical ailments. To keep a healthy mind, I recommend regular exercise, eating healthy foods, practicing activities that actively engage your mind such as playing card and board games, reading, writing and hobbies where you have to think and design or create something. Creativity is fascinating and this will help you keep an active, lucid and healthy mind. However, the most important practice that I believe you can follow for a healthy mind is meditation.
For a healthy body, I like to recommend exercising, which can include sports or other physical activities such as gardening, working in your yard, walking and hiking. Also, eating healthy nutritious foods and practicing meditation. As you can see, there is repetition of the things that will impact both your body and mind. I think that the most impactful practice for a healthy body is your diet. We are what we eat. The quality of your food will impact your performance during physical activities and how well you recover from them.
There are different spiritual practices that you can follow. I like to recommend activities that help you develop virtues such as compassion, kindness, gratitude, acceptance, tolerance, mindfulness, awareness, inner peace and a sense of connection. You can do this by practicing a religion, praying, yoga and…. you guessed it, meditation! My preferred spiritual practice is meditation, since it doesn’t bind you to believe in anything specific or to follow a specific religion.
I offer online and in-person sessions that you can book here. Both follow the same structure. The main difference is that the in-person sessions take place in my consultation room in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where I will prepare tea that we can enjoy while we talk! It is a more personal and intimate experience.
Before booking a full-length session, I highly recommend booking a free discovery call where we can discuss what you need help with and how I can help you. By understanding your needs and my approach, we can determine if it makes sense to work together.
During a full-length session (90 minutes), we will first focus on discussing at a high level what are the challenges that you are facing and what is the outcome or goals that you want to accomplish. I will then explain my role as a life guide and my commitment to supporting and guiding you during this process. We will also talk about the importance of you being accountable for making decisions and following the recommendations and practices discussed during our session. It is paramount to have your commitment to follow through and take action. As your life guide, I am a “tool” that you can leverage. You are the one who has the power to change with your actions. I will stay by your side in this journey providing you guidance and support.
We will do a deep dive of your challenges, where you will be sharing with me any details that you want. I will listen and ask questions to better understand what you are experiencing. The intention of our conversation is to identify the root cause of the challenges that you have and the core beliefs related to them. Only after this, can we discuss potential suggestions and actions to find a solution.
I will close the session by providing a summary of the discussion, the root cause identified and any key actions that you agree to take. At this point we will clarify anything that you didn’t understand and once again we will discuss the importance of your commitment and accountability. Together we will decide if more sessions are needed and when.
My intention with providing life guidance consulting services is to help others. I want to share what I have learned and see if I can help you. For this reason, I will be offering these services for free to some of my clients. I reserve the right to define if I can honor this offer, how many sessions will be free, the length of the sessions and when to cancel them.

Typically, a session can last 60 or 90 minutes. A full-length session will last 90 minutes. This type of session is recommended as the first session that we should have to do a deep dive on the topics that you want to discuss. 60 minute sessions are recommended as follow-ups to check for progress and clarify any doubts that you may have.
The frequency of sessions with me can also vary depending on your needs and preferences. Some clients may benefit from weekly sessions, while others may prefer bi-weekly or monthly sessions. We can discuss and determine the frequency of sessions that works best for you based on your goals and availability.
I offer both in-person and remote sessions. In-person sessions are available for clients in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, while remote sessions can be conducted via video call for clients located anywhere in the world. Remote sessions provide flexibility and convenience, allowing you to receive guidance from the comfort of your own space.
Yes, as a life guide, I adhere to strict confidentiality and ethical guidelines. Any information you share with me during our sessions will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
To prepare for a session with me, you can reflect on your current challenges, goals, and areas of your life that you would like to improve. You can also think about any questions or concerns you may have. It can be helpful to come with an open mind and a willingness to explore new perspectives and ideas.

Yes! If you buy a package of at least 3 sixty minute sessions, then they will be discounted to $100 CAD each. To buy a package please contact me directly by email or using my contact form. Also, every month I select a percentage of my customers, based on their financial situation, and offer some sessions for free. To learn more visit “Free Sessions” here.
I offer two kinds of sessions based on their duration. You can learn more here.
- 90 minute session costs $166 CAD
- 60 minute session costs $111 CAD
I recommend to first book a 90 minute session. During this first session, together we will determine if more sessions are needed and how many. I will provide my recommendation, however it will be your decision.
My schedule is flexible, it might change based on my availability and your needs. If you are only available during specific hours, for example if you are located in Europe, I can make time for you. This is my usual schedule and you can see it on my booking page:
